Act One Studios Faculty


​​Trisha Urdaz “Miss Trish” is the HEAD Director and Choreographer at Act One Dance Studios. Before becoming a teacher ten years ago, she was an assistant teacher for Act One Studios. Miss Trish is dedicated to teaching and motivating her students. 

Trisha is trained in the art of dance and studied at Montclair state university. miss trish's determination, creativity, compassion, and 

choreography are the heart of act one dance studios and these qualities resonate in each and every one of her students.



​Joni Caldera, "Miss Jonii" is the Ballet & Pointe Instructor at Act One Dance Studios.  Prior to joining the Act One Faculty, Joni owned the Joni Marie Dance Academy in Tampa, FL.  There she taught Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Lyrcial.  Before opening her studio, Joni danced for Walt Disney World as a Dragonfly Dancer in the Spectro Magic Electrical Parade and as a Harem Girl in the Disney Stars & Motor Cars Parade.  She graduated from the University of Tampa where she graduated with her Bachelor of Science, MIS.  Today Joni is proud to call Act One Studios home and is honored to teach her students the art of Ballet.


​Alyson DALEO “Miss ALY” is one of our head dance instructors and assistant to our director miss Trish. She has been working with Act One for over 4 years.  Along with teaching she has also trained at Act One Dance sTUDIOS FOR OVER 10 YEARS.  she teaches acrobatics, tap, ballet, hip hop and lyrical. Miss Aly enjoys teaching the girls new skills and pushing them to new heights in their dance and acrobatic journey. She is proud to call act one a second home.

Mary Mosheqaj  "Miss Mary" is one of our head dance instructors. She has been teaching for 2 years and assisting for over 4 years. She began training at Act One at the age of 8 and has been a part of the studio family ever since. Miss Mary is a fun and nurturing instructor who leads each one of her students to reach their greatest potential.
